The Waeve is a coming together of two musicians, Graham Coxon (Blur) and Rose Elinor Dougall (The Pipettes), who have formed a new, singular, sonic identity by working together. A powerful elixir of cinematic British folk-rock, post-punk, organic song-writing and freefall jamming.

A year on from their acclaimed eponymous debut album, The WAEVE have established themselves as a songwriting partnership to watch. With the release of new single ‘You Saw’, the duo announced ‘City Lights’, a collection of 10 songs out on September 20th, that illustrate the evolution of their collaborative musicianship and sees the band’s sound solidified into something bolder, more expansive and self-assured. Produced by James Ford, the newly announced album features Graham and Rose on vocals, as well as keyboards, guitar, bass guitar, drums and saxophone.

After joining Elbow on their UK tour, the band play Latitude, Green Man and a series of festival appearances this summer. Followed by their biggest headline show to date at Village Underground, London on 29th October.
